AARP- A New Age: For Art's Sake

AARP- A New Age: For Art's Sake

The June issue of AARP featured the Carter Burden Gallery in Chelsea. Our very own gallery artist, Marilyn Church, was photographed by Jerome Sessini in her studio for the print magazine. The gallery features painters, sculptures, photographers, and mixed media artists all ages 60 and up. The goal is to create a dialogue with the arts community. We believe that older, lesser-known artists must not be overlooked due to age or decreased marketability in the current art scene. This year is the gallery's 10th anniversary, and we are thrilled to showcase and support a vibrant community of re-emerging artists.
