CARTER BURDEN YOUNG PROFESSIONALS COUNCIL
The Carter Burden Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a group of professionals who aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of older adults in the New York City community. The YPC program serves as a stepping stone to potential full-time Board of Directors membership through hands-on experience in fundraising, community engagement, and volunteer management.

What We're Looking For:
College graduates with a passion for community service and the CBN mission

Experience in volunteering and/or fundraising
Natural leaders with backgrounds in business, tech, health, marketing, education, or fields related to aging services
Commitment to raising $2,500 annually for CBN through fundraising
If you decide to become a full-time board member, there is a $10,000 annual pledge required from you and/or your company.
If you do not decide to become a board member, you are able to continue supporting CBN by staying on the YPC or joining a non-board committee.
Time Commitment:
One-year initial commitment
Quarterly committee meetings
1-2 volunteer events per quarter
