East Harlemites of all ages celebrated the season yesterday morning at our Leonard Covello Senior Center in a space all decked out for the holidays! Kindergartners from St. Ann school visited with the seniors, delivered holiday cards, and sang Christmas carols. The event helps the seniors and the children form connections that enrich their lives. Carter Burden Network’s mission is to fight isolation that many any older New Yorkers face every day. The day was concluded with a wonderful and spirited performance by the phenomenal Carter Burden Network Singers, led by its talented and generous volunteer choral director Peter Hill!
