Thanks to generous funding from Ravenswood Generating Station, our popular sewing classes at the Carter Burden Network Roosevelt Island Senior Center will continue on for another year!
Last year, they generously provided funding to open our the sewing studio at the Roosevelt Island Senior Center. Their grant helped us purchase sewing machines, hire a fantastic instructor, and they did a full upgrade of our electrical wiring.
This year, Ravenswood Generating Station graciously provided Carter Burden Network with additional funding to expand sewing classes to reach even more participants. They aren’t just committed to powering the city that never sleeps; they power our seniors’ bright smiles!
