According to a recent study by National Poll on Healthy Aging, one third of seniors say they are lonely. Feeling isolated affects memory, mental and physical health. Thanks to a generous donation from New York Community Trust, we are connecting Roosevelt Island homebound seniors with their neighbors, friends, and family. Isolated seniors will receive Amazon Echo Shows, which will give them access to Carter Burden Network programs and social services.
